Hello, my name is Nicole Shell, PMHNP-BC, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My journey into mental health care began during my work as a registered nurse, where I witnessed how profoundly mental health influences every aspect of a person’s well-being. I was drawn to psychiatry because I wanted to walk alongside individuals during their most difficult times and provide care that fosters healing, stability, and hope. That passion led me to pursue advanced training as a PMHNP so I could offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning. I specialize in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment and proudly use NeuroStar TMS, the first and only FDA-approved TMS therapy for adolescents with depression. This safe, non-invasive treatment offers new hope to teens and adults who may not have responded well to traditional approaches. By combining innovative options like NeuroStar TMS with evidence-based medication management, I strive to create treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. I also have extensive experience in addiction treatment and co-occurring disorders, giving me a holistic perspective when supporting patients who face overlapping challenges with mental health and substance use. As the Co-founder and CEO of Restoring Minds Psychiatric Services, I am committed to breaking down barriers to care and ensuring that our community has access to high-quality, compassionate behavioral health services. My mission is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where every patient feels respected, valued, and empowered in their recovery journey. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, attending live music events, and spending time with my family and our very spoiled Cockapoo, Tucker.
